In February 2024 after four years as an artist member, I stepped into the role of Shop Manager—and now Program Director—at the Mancos Common Press in Mancos, Colorado. This position feels like the perfect culmination of everything I’ve done throughout my life, making it more than just a job—it’s a renewed dedication to both art and community. To say I’ve found new purpose would be an understatement.

Rediscovering the art of letterpress printing on antique presses has been both exciting and deeply rewarding. Even more meaningful has been helping grow our printmaking center into a space that welcomes the community through memberships, education, events, and activities. Along the way, I’ve also reignited my passion for printmaking methods I’ve loved in the past—like monotypes, photogravure, and collagraphs—while diving into techniques that are brand new to me.

Enjoy this photo gallery that captures my journey back into printmaking!
